Nautical Steel are suppliers of Structural support cables for bridges and Walkways. We supplied the cables for the iconic Soccer World cup 2010 Fan Mile Bridge in Cape Town City Center.

We have the engineering knowledge and capability to manufacture a large range of structural cables for bridges.

Our cable fittings are machined out of solid Stainless Steel bar according to international standards.

General note on Swaging of fittings:

The length to be swaged is normally ten times the wire diameter. We do not guarantee strength of slings for lifting or terminations for supporting activities made with our terminals. A termination performed according to our instructions will normally withstand a tensile strength of 90% of the minimum breaking load (MBL) of the wire rope. Verifying tests must be done in order to find out the strength. Please read our Instructions carefully to secure a safe and correct swaging operation.
